Outside perceptions and judgment often diminish female relationships, dismissing them as performative or trivial. Every intimate moment carries a level of self-consciousness and awareness that you're being watched or judged. I want my work to push back against that, and I am exploring these tensions in this project. I want the figures in my work to feel rebellious and alert. By layering faceless, nameless figures, their interactions become distressed, revealing tension in relationships that exist outside of identity.
